Yoga and Meditation
Feel Healthier in Body and in Mind
Research shows that Yoga and Meditation heal both body and mind. Yoga practice improves flexibility, builds strength and sustains balance…all while reducing stress and lifting your spirits. Each of our classes are designed for different levels and needs. Find the one that’s best for you.
All-Levels: For Level One to Advanced. This is an energizing class designed for students who already have a yoga practice. Options are given for all poses to accommodate Level One and to challenge Intermediate students.
Gentle Yoga: This is a delicious, slower-paced class for those who may have muscular or joint issues. Or for those who just want to indulge in a gentler experience. Great for beginners.
Chair Yoga: Think of a chair as a prop to help you get all the benefits of Yoga without having to get up and down from a mat. It is a fun class that works every body part from head to toe.
Each class at every level is followed by a guided meditation (optional, but highly recommended).
If you have yoga blocks and a strap, please bring them to class. In place of a strap, you can use a long scarf, soft belt, dog leash, man’s tie, etc. We won’t use the strap in all classes but good to have one handy in case we do. For some poses, a dense pillow will work in place of a block. A blanket is also helpful. These props are not a requirement. You can do all poses without props, but they make them easier and more accessible to all body types. If you join an in-person class props will be available.
All classes are Hybrid…both on Zoom or in Person.
Advantages of In-person yoga:
-Your teacher will be able to see your progress
-If you are having difficulty, she can modify poses for you.
-She can offer assists with challenging poses
-Seeing your skill level will allow her to better prepare classes for all.
-You will get the most out of your practice
-Your teacher can keep you safe!
