New The eVoice Gets a Refresh
Sharing Abundance
Split Plate Recipient for June 2026
BuxMont eVoice
We have eliminated all announcements that are more than 4-weeks old. Why? Because no one reads them. Old news creates clutter making it difficult to get your new message seen. Special Events are easier. They are removed from the eVoice as soon as the event has ended. We want to make the eVoice enjoyable to read by giving every announcement an eye-catching graphic. If the subject of an announcement is timeless, it should still be taken down after four weeks. Then at a later date, you can request it as a new announcement with a new graphic making it look brand new.
And A New Process…
To keep the eVoice attractive and readable we have updated the process for submitting announcements and special events. Instead of using a form, send Beverly Vitek (administrator@buxmontuu.org) an email with the text for your announcement and attach a graphic. If you do not have one, Beverly will create one for you.
Sharing Abundance
Food insecurity threatens life. BuxMont Fellowship is committed to fighting hunger in our communities by sharing abundance. Please see the table in the corner of the social hall for the list of needed items. If you have food, please share it. If you need food, please take it.
During the school year many children receive free breakfast and/or lunches. So summer is an especially difficult time for families with school-age children. You can make a difference for food insecure families by continuing to bring shelf-stable food items to the Shared Abundance corner in the Social Hall.
In the 2025-2026 fiscal year, you gave a total of 857 items and 121 pounds of food to seven different food pantries in Montgomery and Bucks Counties. Thank you for caring, and thank you for your continued generosity! If you have any questions, please see Donna Laing or Scott Kuhn from Peace & Justice committee. BuxMonters sharing abundance can really make a difference!
Together, we can.
Split Plate Recipient for June 2026: Rainbow Room
LGBTQ+ youth are under attack. They are being targeted across the country and in every school district in our area. In 2002 Planned Parenthood opened the first queer youth center in Bucks County called the Rainbow Room, which now has two locations in Doylestown and Langhorne, offering three programs a week, a fabulous queer prom, community outreach, training’s, and a place of love, belonging, education and empowerment for youth between ages 10 to 21. With federal funding being cut for essential services like the Rainbow Room, donations and support are more precious than ever.
