Four BuxMonters attended the annual meeting of the Unitarian Universalist Pennsylvania Legislative Advocacy Network (UUPLAN) on December 7, 2013. UUPLAN advocates for economic justice, restaurant workers’ justice, environmental justice, immigration justice, reproductive justice, LGBT equality and other social and environmental justice issues.
On November 25, 2013, BuxMont members joined other concerned citizens in a vigil for Immigration Reform outside the office of Rep. Michael Fitzpatrick. They delivered many signed petitions, including a letter signed by minsters of several different faiths.
