Yoga is more than moving your body into different shapes. It is a way of life—a process by which you uncover your true self. Learn how names such as Mohandas Ghandi, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Dr. Carl Jung used yoga to formulate their life’s teachings, and become revered luminaries. Most importantly, find out how UU values align with yoga teachings.
Rosemarie enjoyed a flourishing career in marketing, and teaching at several New York Colleges as well as West Point Military Academy. Roughly 16 years ago, she turned to yoga, at first for her physical well-being. But soon after she discovered yoga’s many mental and spiritual benefits. “It changed my life,” she says. “I thought I was ‘successful’ and ‘together.’ But I soon realized I had no idea what those words really meant.
