The service offers a reflection on the profound relationship between our spiritual values and the political structures that shape our lives. Includes ideas for expanding our own participation in democracy.
Rev. Paula Maiorano is a retired Unitarian Universalist, unusual in the sense that she never relocated from her home in Wilmington, DE to serve in ministry. She and her husband, Giovanni, raised two sons and now enjoy two granddaughters.
Following a career in the travel industry her ordained ministry service (1996) included half time and interim ministries, hospice chaplain, and chaplain to the residents at UU House, the former long term care facility in Philadelphia. She founded and directed a prison re-entry non profit in Wilmington and co-founded a multi-faith Delaware prison reform non profit. Rev Maiorano is an active member at First Unitarian of Wilmington.
Rev Paula and Giovanni Maiorano still love to travel, especially to Italy, the land of their grandparents.
