We will hold a Memorial Service for Jerry Johnson on Saturday, January 13 at 2 p.m. at the Fellowship, Rev. Kevin will officiate. There will be a reception afterward and the service will be streamed online for those who cannot attend in person.

 

Jerry joined the congregation on August 10, 2008 and during the many years he has been part of BuxMont, he has given generously of his time. He was a past Treasurer, chair the Adult Religious Education committee, leader of our Bible Study, Small Group Ministry facilitator, frequent creator of Sunday worship services, and also the leader of our annual Maundy Thursday and Good Friday observances. Jerry brought a depth of knowledge and a curious spirit to all that he did. His passing has rippled through our congregation as many reflect on the incredible kindness he shared with them. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends here at BuxMont and beyond.
