Jennifer and Karen will lead a service which explores themes in serving their community as leaders in various capacities. Karen will discuss how her passion led her to her leadership roles and Leading with Grace. Jennifer will tie in the theme of the roles we all play in serving our community and how anyone has the potential to be a leader.
Jennifer Worthington is a Spanish teacher in a private Catholic school in the area. Jennifer has taught Spanish in a variety of schools in Pennsylvania and Virginia over the last 20 years. She attended Smith College (2000) and received her Masters in Spanish at the University of Virginia (2002). Jennifer has 2 daughters (15 and 10). She has been a member of BuxMont since 2013. She is an active member of CCR and the Chair of the Leadership Development Committee.
Karen Reever has been a member of BuxMont since 2002. Previously unchurched, she appreciates BuxMont’s open exploration of spirituality, and she is continually learning what it means to be a member of a congregation. Karen has served on a bunch of committees; chaired a strategic planning team, membership committee, interim minister search committee, the Board; and now serves on Denominational Connections, Peace & Justice and Leadership Development committees. As a retired gerontologist, she is trying to practice what she preached, and relishes daily walks with her husband, Jon, in Peace Valley Park.
- 10:15 a.m. – Gathering Time In-person
- 10:30 a.m. – Sunday Service both Online & In-person
- 10:30 a.m. – Religious education provided for children from birth through teens. All classes begin at 10:45 and last through the end of service.
- 11:30 a.m. – In-person Social Time
