We have many ways to be involved in the holiday season at BuxMont UU Fellowship. Some involve helping us get ready for our special worship services and others are all about showing up when you can. Join in everything or just do the ones that you like best.

Annual First Light Service

Participate in First Light Buddhist Prayers for Peace Virtually!
January 1 – 7:00 a.m.

Typically, First Light takes place at the Fellowship at 7 a.m. as we join others around the world with sharing prayers for peace on a personal, local, national, and international level.  

This year you are welcome to join us on New Year’s Day at 7 a.m. from your own home via Zoom. Consider watching the sunrise from home, and light a candle after your sharing. Please email Tracy Bleakney and provide your email if you are willing to read a Buddhist World Healing Prayer that will be provided to you in advance.  After our shared experience you may leave, or stay a bit longer for some social time.
