The Article II Study Commission was charged by the UUA Board to review Article II of the UUA Bylaws, and propose any revisions that would enable the UUA, the member congregations, and the covenanted communities to be a relevant and powerful force for spiritual and moral growth, healing, and justice. Article II is the covenant among the member congregations and the UUA; essentially, the statement of what binds us together. In June, at General Assembly, delegates debated and approved the revisions proposed by the Study Commission, with several amendments. What comes next? How were amendments debated? What amendments were not included in the proposed revisions to Article II?
