Rain barrels were installed as part of the Green Sanctuary initiative to aid in the conservation of water to be used in our gardens in times of drought.  In addition, two low-flow toilets were installed to replace existing higher flow models.  Use of “on-demand” heating units in our kitchen and bathroom sinks is being considered as a way of saving the water usually wasted until heated water reaches the faucet.
