As part of the Green Sanctuary initiative, several children’s Religious Education classes with “green” topics have been taught, as can be seen in the list below.  Classes like these will continue as we teach children respect for the interdependent web of existence, of which we are a part.

  • A water quality test demonstration was made during a Fellowship picnic and canoe rides were offered for enjoyment and appreciation of the stream beside the grounds.
  • The impact of waste and recycling was shared and different types of garbage were buried and left for several months to see how much decayed.
