Monday, December 1st @ 8 p.m. Eastern
Rev. Kimberley Debus & Rev. Kevin W. Jagoe are collaborating with several queer colleagues to share a multi-site worship service that will hold both lament and celebration as we remember the history of our queer communities’ experience of AIDS, celebrate together the magic of being queer today, and share the music that both held and continues to hold us through it all.
We are inviting congregations & communities to host this service in their sanctuaries or other places of gathering. We also welcome folks participating from their homes. Elements of the service will be shared from multiple locations and there will be a community candle-lighting ritual across all our sacred spaces.
This service will be broadcast via Zoom, in order to receive the Zoom details, please register for this service by 3 p.m. Eastern on Monday, December 1st. We will check after this time but the closer to the service starting, the less likely we will be able to send the link.
Registration is closed.
In addition to registering above, there are some things both communities and individuals will want to consider and some items to have on hand to participate fully in this service, find out those details here.
