Practices of Connection: Pilgrimage

This year’s sermon series will be about practices that promote connection to our inner life as well as the larger world. Some might call them spiritual practices. However, they are very much embodied and about how we relate to humanity whether we believe in the divine or approach the world nontheisticly.

The practice of focus for this service will be Pilgrimage. Typically, this is a journey to a sacred destination. What does this idea mean in a time of less travel and being nearer to our homes? Where do we find the places of deep meaning within ourselves? Perhaps the journey does not need to be one of miles.
