This year’s sermon series will be about practices that promote connection to our inner life as well as the larger world. Some might call them spiritual practices. However, they are very much embodied and about how we relate to humanity whether we believe in the divine or approach the world non-theistically.
The practice of focus for this service will be Giving. What does it mean to tithe? What does it mean to give away something to support the religious or secular works you’d like to see more of in the world? We will explore the ways this practice has evolved over time and what we might learn from it.
