As we gather and anticipate the coming election, we are holding uncertain hopes about what comes next. Politically, personally, and in terms of justice in the larger world. In truth, all hope is uncertain and it is the uncertainty about the future that makes room for hope in the first place. We will spend time sharing in this service about what we carry on hearts and we will reflect on multiple sources of hope in uncertain times.
